Questions for Further Study or Group Discussion
1. Read Romans 8:18-25. What are the “sufferings of this present time” that Paul is speaking about?
2. What does verse 20 mean? What is futility? Who does the subjecting? Why?
3. Why does creation “wait with eager longing"  for the revealing of the sons of God? What is this event?
4. What does it mean to “groan” (v. 22 & 23)? How is this different than complaining? Is there something wrong with us if we do not “groan”? Why or why not?
5. What is hope? How is hope involved in our salvation (v. 24)?

Memory Verse of the Week: Romans 8:18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. (ESV)
