  1. Read Galatians 2:11-16. What does Cephas do that leads Paul to oppose him? What motivated Cephas’s behavior? Why does Paul call this hypocrisy?
  2. Are there people in your church you have not been “eating with” because they are not “like you”? What self-righteousness lies beneath this attitude?
  3. What does it look like to walk in step with the truth of the Gospel? In what areas do you struggle to walk in step with the Gospel?
  4. How would you explain “justification by faith” to someone who has never been to church before?
  5. How do we apply justification by faith to every area of life? How does this doctrine impact your marriage? Your parenting? Your work ethic? Your hope for the future? Etc….
