  1. Read Galatians 3:19-29. What is the purpose of the Law? How do the illustrations Paul uses (prison warden, v 23, and guardian, v. 24) help us understand this purpose of the Law?
  2. How is the Law necessary and helpful for your understanding and appreciation of the Gospel? What happens if the Gospel is presented without reference to the Law?
  3. What is our new identity when we put our faith in Jesus Christ? What is the significance of this?
  4. What does it mean to “put on” Christ, or to be clothed in Christ? What difference would it make in your life to practice this “presence of Christ”?
  5. What barriers are broken down by Christ and the Gospel? How can we help maintain such unity?
