- Read Hebrews 2:5-9 and Psalm 8. What is the psalmist communicating and celebrating? Why does the writer of Hebrews quote this psalm?
- What is meant by “subjection” spoken about many times in this passage? Consider also Genesis 1:26-28.
- Why don’t we see all things subjected to mankind? What went wrong?
- How does Jesus do what mankind failed to do? Are all things subjected to Christ? How so?
- Consider Ephesians 2:7. How does our union with Christ enable us to fulfill God’s original intention as expressed in Psalm 8?
